Handmade christmas #2 and how I did it

Memory Game


Materials:
PVA glue
3 inch mdf squares 3mm thick
Paintbrush
rotary cutter
cutting mat
fabric scraps
fat quarter of fine or no pattern backing fabric


Step 1
cover one side of the blocks with PVA

Step 2
Put the two blocks glue side down on the wrong side of some scrap fabric. Using your rotary cutter, trim off excess fabric.

step3
Spread a layer of PVA over the top of the fabric.


step 4
Let them dry



step5
Repeat step one on the other side of the block then place them on the wrong side of the fat quarter. Trim excess with rotary cutter. Lining them up makes it easier to trim.

Each with matching drawstring bags. I used this wonderful tutorial from Curlypops. I'll be using it for lots more gifts too!
